SAA: What fosters art?
IM: A free minded environment, a safe space, where people can develop and learn from each other.
SAA: Who is supporting you and how?
IM: My friends and the people that surround me. But also art works that have been made or are in the making. They trigger and excite me, they make me want to participate and grow.
SAA: Does financial support expand creativity?
IM: To have financial support can help to be able to realize certain projects and can give you a certain freedom, but I don’t think creativity can be fostered with money.
SAA: Must art be sellable?
IM: This really much depends on the artwork. Ideally the art should not depend on the rules of the predominant market.
SAA: Should art belong to the private or public?
IM: First the artwork belongs to itself – then the public should always be part of it.
